The little kitten was stuck in a tree in a Walmart parking lot when someone first found him.

While Nikki was on the job, she received a call for help regarding a kitten stuck in a tree at a Walmart parking lot, and the cat’s condition was not good at that time. "I got a call from a friend that there was a kitten in a tree in a Walmart parking lot who appeared to be very sick," Nikki of @myfosterkittens said.
Immediately, she provided the person with step-by-step instructions to rescue the feline. Not long after the little cat safely landed on the ground, Nikki went to pick him up and bring him along with her to the shelter.

When she came to pick up the little cat, she was captivated by its charming personality right away. "He has had the sweetest personality from the minute I found him," she shared.

Nikki then named him Wally, and the lovely cat seemed to express his gratitude toward the people who had given him a second chance in life. He started acting childish and getting very close to Nikki when he received care from her.

The next day, Wally underwent surgery by a veterinarian at Nikki’s behest.

The stray cat is now on the road to recovery and is glad to have been given the chance to live a better life.

The little cat appears to understand that his human companions are on hand to assist him, and he expresses his appreciation to them every day. Wally is a fun-loving character who craves attention and affection. Nikki commented, “He is lively, content, and enjoys playing. He serves as an excellent role model for myself and others, even though his disability does not hinder him.”

Although Wally is visually impaired, he is able to rely on his other senses to navigate the world around him.

After being rescued for a couple of weeks, Wally embarked on a journey from Las Vegas to his forever home in Charlotte, NC! Despite his disability, Wally’s spirit remains unbreakable, and he continues to live life as a joyful kitten and now has his own loving home forever.
