From the glorified
/r/AmIthe*sshole/, I recently found another "It's just a kid" and their Karen mom drama again. Picture this: a kid, about 9 or 10, turning a crowded restaurant into his personal playground. Yelling, cartwheels, the whole nine yards.
Now, our protagonist is seated in a booth, minding their own business when the little rascal decides to make their hat his new accessory. Sharp words are exchanged, and the hat is returned with a side of embarrassment. But oh no, it doesn't end there. Our OP decides to school the young daredevil on the art of not taking other people's things without permission.
Here's where the plot thickens. The kid's mom, who's been blissfully ignoring her little hurricane, finally notices the storm brewing at the neighboring table. She storms over, declaring our protagonist the villain of the piece. "Leave her son alone," she demands.
The family drama unfolds in a family-friendly restaurant, leaving us wondering: is it fair game to scold a mischievous child for toying with personal belongings, or should our protagonist have let the hat hijinks slide? Read more to find out!
The scene is set for a disaster
Oh dear, it's not like at your home huh, boy?
Here comes the boss
Again with that excuse?
You're clearly not, OP
Wholesome mom comes to the rescue
Not just by blood, also stepdad
That kid's gonna have a bad future ahead of him
OP is not alone
Maybe good kids are all on Reddit
This married couple got the nerve to say this??
Parents, take note!
Wow, wow a bit extreme there
You have Karen Mom, now meet Karen Dad
What a surprise
Not sure if that's true, tho
Not gonna serve you anyway
Lice or not, this kid is gonna have a big problem in the future. What do you guys think? Is it wrong that OP yells at the child? Give us your comments below
