A rather large African Sulcata Tortoise named Crouton was found in 2012 when he was still little and alone by a riverside. There was no sign of her clan, so she was rescued by the nonprofit animal rescue group and animal home Rocky Ridge Refuge in Gassville, Arkansas, along with an Orphaned Turtle. Let's see how she has captured the hearts of many animal lovers in these adorable pictures with her friends!

After settling in the refuge, the orphaned turtle made friends with other rescued animals. She quickly cuddled up with other residents, from puppies to bunnies. Crouton was so kind and generous that she was willing to share her meals and snacks with her buddies (of course, on one condition that they were not so picky).#3. Watermelon share

As days passed, Crouton and the puppies grew up, and several pups were adopted. The friendly tortoise said goodbye to her old friends and continued to live at the shelter to welcome more rescued fellows. Crouton's presence was a comfort to new-coming panicked animals that the organization tried to help.#7. Awwww
