Woman Shames Company After She Received An Email Stating That They Increased Their Offer By 33 Cents, As She Said She Can't Take That Low

Daniel Figaro

Of all the currently working employees, we bet none of them works for the fun of it. Let's be honest. If the job doesn't pay as much as we expect, then what it's worth? The relationship between employees and employers is a win-win. Nobody owes anyone here. We get that job done and get paid for it. So, don't keep silent when you think they're paying you too little.
As the expertise increases after each year, an experienced worker can rightfully ask for a higher rate. However, companies will not let you get what you want that quickly. Usually, they start at a very low rate. And after negotiation, they "may" increase it a bit if you can show them how qualified of a candidate you are. Yes, we say "may" here because sometimes that increased amount is close to nothing. Like, in the story below, a company increased their offer by 0.33 dollars after a candidate said that she couldn't take that low pay.
Sounds pretty crazy but this is a true story. And the woman shared her experience on Tik Tok and publicly shamed that company for their stinginess. Scroll down to check the full story below.
