In the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ellen Pompeo plays Naomi, the ex-girlfriend of the main character Joel Barish. All of her sequences were filmed, but the director cut her out of the film because she was distracting from Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey's main romance. That's why they cut those parts out.

Katherine Langford played Iron Man's grown daughter Morgan Stark in Avengers: Endgame. After talking about what happened, Tony receives Morgan's forgiveness in the scenario. However, the director decided not to air it because she failed to see the depth of Tony's relationship with his grown daughter.

On-screen, Michael Biehn portrayed Kyle Reese in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Sarah Connor first had a dream about him that reminded him that John was Skynet's intended victim. For reasons of brevity and the fact that new viewers wouldn't know who Kyle was, James Cameron cut the sequence from Avatar.

When I asked why I hadn't been informed of my elimination, they said, "No one told me."
