#1 Emilia Clarke — Game of Thrones

In Game of Thrones season 1, Daenerys impressed Khal Drogo by eating a horse heart. But it wasn't easy for Emilia Clarke. She had to eat around 28 hearts made from gelatin that tasted like bleach and undercooked pasta. She ended up using a spit bucket because the hearts made her vomit quite often. On top of that, the hearts were really sticky and difficult to wash off, leaving Clarke covered in an unpleasant substance.

#2 Lauren Cohan — The Walking Dead

Lauren Cohan, the star of a popular zombie series, considered leaving the show after being deeply affected by a difficult scene in which her character had to perform a C-section. Cohan approached her co-star Steven Yeun and expressed her doubts, but ultimately pushed through and continued working on the show.

#3 Jonathan Bailey — Bridgerton

Jonathan Bailey, the star of Bridgerton, recalled an awkward moment that occurred during filming for season 2. In a fencing scene, the costume designers chose clothes that were too tight for him. While wearing plimsolls on a dewy morning, Bailey lunged and his crotch ripped, which was captured on camera by four different angles. Bailey expressed his embarrassment by screaming out, "This is so embarrassing!" It was a cringe-worthy moment that he won't soon forget.

#4 Taron Egerton — Kingsman: The Secret Service

In the film, one of the challenges faced by the future spies was a cool scene of flooding in a closed space. However, this scene could have turned into a tragedy due to a technical issue. The water level was supposed to be controlled by a computer, but there was a bug that caused the actors to be instantly submerged 20 feet underwater. According to the director, the actors were absolutely terrified, and the first day of filming was a nightmare.

#5 Renée Zellweger — Judy

Renée Zellweger felt real terror while shooting the movie Judy, which portrays the last year of Judy Garland's life. In order to resemble the character as closely as possible, the actress had to wear prosthetic teeth and a nose cap. During a kissing scene with co-star Finn Wittrock, Zellweger noticed that the tip of her prosthetic nose had fallen off, and the adhesive was now stuck to Wittrock's face. This sight shocked her, but didn't deter her from winning an Oscar for her role.

#6 Margot Robbie — The Wolf of Wall Street

During the filming of The Wolf of Wall Street, Margot Robbie found it challenging to film a scene where she and Leonardo DiCaprio were lying on a bed covered in fake money bills. The bills had sharp edges that caused a lot of scratches on her back.

#7 Uma Thurman — Kill Bill

While filming Kill Bill, Uma Thurman had a serious accident that caused tension between her and director Quentin Tarantino for a while. Despite her request for a stunt double, Tarantino convinced her that everything would be okay. Unfortunately, Thurman ended up losing control of the car and crashing into a tree, resulting in a concussion and knee injuries.

#8 Jonathan Bailey — Bridgerton

During the filming of Bridgerton, there were a couple of embarrassing moments for Jonathan Bailey. In episode 5, during a bathroom scene, the crew placed a camera in the water between his legs, making him feel like he was giving birth. Despite laughing about it now, he was clearly embarrassed at the time. In another incident, Bailey forgot to remove his thongs from the water scene and wore them to meet his friends after work. He quickly realized his mistake and had to escape the situation in a hurry.

#9 Emma Watson — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Emma Watson found filming the scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows where Hermione and Ron destroyed Voldemort's Horcrux in the water very challenging and intense due to the extreme conditions, being in the water, and the cold.

#10 Emily Blunt — The Adjustment Bureau

Emily Blunt had a painful experience on the set of The Adjustment Bureau where she had to play a ballet dancer. During one of the dance scenes, she fell on her face and got a lot of bruises, which was one of the most awkward things that happened to her on set. Additionally, she suffered from a lot of injuries while working on that film.

#11 Benedict Cumberbatch — The Imitation Game

Benedict Cumberbatch found the final scene of The Imitation Game challenging because of the intense emotions it evoked. Playing mathematician Alan Turing, the character is accused of homosexuality and given the option of prison or hormonal therapy. Cumberbatch recalls breaking down and crying during the scene, experiencing a nervous breakdown.

#12 Charlize Theron — Æon Flux

Hollywood stars often do their own stunts, but it can have bad consequences. Charlize Theron almost ended her career while filming Æon Flux, as she attempted a backflip on a platform in heels and almost broke her neck. She said she was very close to being paralyzed for life.

#13 Paul Mescal — Normal People

During the production of Normal People, lead actor Paul Mescal and his co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones had a funny but awkward moment on set. They were filming a scene where they were covered with a special gel to simulate sweat. When the scene ended and they separated, a certain sound was produced which made both actors burst out laughing. Despite their laughter, the crew remained professional and pretended that nothing happened.

#14 Kurt Russel — The Hateful Eight

In the movie, Daisy was playing a very expensive antique guitar when Kurt Russell's character snatched and destroyed it in a powerful scene. It turned out that the guitar was not a prop and was worth $40,000. When Russell found out, he was terribly sorry and reportedly even teared up.
