People's Response To Ashamed Owner Who Shares The Story Of Her Dog Unknowingly Eating Human Remains

Susanna Grace

Dogs are just as curious as to how we think they are. They love to sniff and might eat anything that comes to their mouth. But, who just can get mad at these so-darn-innocent creatures?
Many owners love their dogs to the point that they consider them essentially their kids, and refer to themselves as their parents. When it comes to children, however, the thing is that they can sometimes embarrass us with their naive thoughts and behaviors. One of those cringeworthy moments that has been shared on the Internet is the case of u/berry_belle.
The Redditor has told people online about an experience she had with her dog whom she takes out for a walk every few days. And every time, they stop at their favorite spot on a hill.
On a normal hiking trip to nature, she saw an old lady in black sprinkling some "grey powder" alongside her footpath. Later, she was able to realize the grey something was a human's ashes. When she walked past, she kept her canine close so it didn't disturb the ashes.
A few days later, however, when they came back for the hike, the ashes were still there. Unfortunately, berry_belle didn't put a leash on her dog, therefore, it took a bite of the ash when they walked past. The woman shared how horrible she felt about her dog eating human remains, even though she knew it harmed no one.
