A lot of people misunderstand "kill" and "no-kill" animal shelters while the truth is totally mind-blowing. They believe that "no-kill" shelters let their animals stay inside or in a foster home until they can find forever homes. Meanwhile, "kill" shelters can decide to (humanely) euthanize their dogs/ cats. This misunderstanding causes people to support the "no-kill" shelter while having a negative prejudice about the other one.
Twitter user @hannahschramm4 wants to reveal the truth so people know and give both two kinds of shelters equal support. To make her point clear, she even goes with a 7-tweet-rant about the difference between "kill" and "no-kill" shelters. Here are the posts in detail.
