Chefs Are Sharing 20 Common Cooking Mistakes You Might Not Know Yet

Daniel Figaro

For me, and maybe many other people, the life motto is "Learn to do everything on your own, then you'll never be afraid of being alone." And, of course, "everything" here includes learning how to cook. It's to no surprise that many youngsters these days have absolutely zero ideas about how to cook even the most simple dish. Well, in a time when we can have any type of cuisine in less than half an hour with just a few clicks, it's apparent why people won't come into the kitchen if not forced.
Anyway, cooking is never easy, even for experienced home cooks. Like, do you know that your pasta water needs substantially more salt than you think? Or do you know that garlic cooks faster than onion? If you add them in all at once, your garlic will be burned well before your onion is cooked. So, to be a better cook, let's check out the list of common cooking mistakes down below. And don't forget to let us know if you find any of those mistakes familiar to you.
