A tearful reunion was made possible last week after four women abandoned since their birth came face-to-face with their fifth sister whom they never met.

The four Palfreeman sisters, who were left uncared for by their mother in the 1950s, had been living apart from each other at different foster homes before they finally stayed under the same roof with their grandfather.
It was told to them that they had another lost sister, the youngest one, Lisa. But they didn't know where she was living. Although The Palfreemans knew Lisa was somewhere out there, they had no clue how to track her down. Their grandfather, the only person knowing the truth, kept it until he was gone.

Seven decades passed by, happiness eventually came to them after Lisa's adoption records had been revealed by the city of St. Louis. That fact was that Lisa had been living just 25 minutes away from her sisters.
The video below captured emotional moments when the Palfreeman sisters met each other in person after years of separation.
Traveling from another state to come to her siblings, Lisa couldn't hide her excited face. The youngest sister bawled her eyes out with tears of happiness and surprise, hugging her sisters' biological father tightly.
"It was a blessing, I always knew I was adopted, but I never felt complete. I never felt I belonged", shared Lisa Palfreeman. We are happy that those people can find their loved ones after years of living apart.
