Girl Steals Dog From Owner Thinking She's Doing Right Thing, But Redditors Make It Clear That She's Wrong

Adoption is good news for both a dog and a family, but in fact, it can be less than ideal. And adapting takes time. In some cases, training is necessary for a dog to get along well with new family members.
An angry owner has shared on r/AITA telling his dog, Maximo, being stolen by a stranger, while it was going through training to be muzzled around people. Later, the girl who stole the dog explained that she just wanted to rescue it. She thought that muzzling a dog is animal abuse, and the OP (Maximo's owner) was mistreating it.
Apparently, her excuse wasn't persuasive enough, and OP wanted to sue her. OP's sister, however, thought that he was overreacting to the problem. No one has a right to take a dog from its owner(s) without permission, no matter why. It caused mental distress for both the dog and owner(s).

Some people even think that she was just making excuse, and the reason why she stole the dog was that she really wanted it.

She should have called the police or joined with the animal rescue if she really wanted to help the dog.
