Pup Drags Her Blanket Outside And Shares It With Freezing Stray Dog All Night

Susanna Grace

A picture of two dogs sharing a blanket has gone viral on the Internet and touched millions of hearts. The picture showed Lana the 8-month-old Brazilian dog dragging her blanket outside and sharing it with a stray dog on street. What a beautiful moment! Lana's owner, Suelen Schaumloeffel, who came across the scene while she was rushing to work, shared: "It reminded me of something so important: generosity!"

Apparently, humans are not the only ones that love and show compassion. At 8 months old, Lana was pretty much a puppy, but she knew she was luckier than many other dogs. She was rescued by good hands and quickly found her new loving owners, Schaumloeffel and her fiancé. Even after getting the love and care she'd been wishing for, Lana didn't forget how it feels for dogs who can not.

Recently, Schaumloeffel has bought a blanket for her dog as the weather has been getting colder. Lana lived in a dog house in her garden, so she needed a blanket to keep her warm through freezing nights.
Schaumloeffel knew that Lana was a sweet and tender girl, but she couldn't expect that her dog knew to forgo a little of her comfort for a new friend. That night, Lana shared her blanket with another dog that she saw suffering the cold outside. The pair was seen sleeping peacefully together the next morning.

Schaumloeffel realized that she had met the street dog several times before, but failed to approach him. She wasn't sure he was a stray either, but Lana make him her friend and decided to help the poor dog.

Since then, the dog has appeared around their house several times. But whenever Schaumloeffel and her fiancé come close, he always runs. They've been leaving food and water for him, though. Lana always provides help when she meets the dog.
"She is the nicest little dog I've ever met," Schaumloeffel shared. "We forget sometimes the difference we can make in someone's life. She reminded me of this."
