There are admirable friendships between humans and animals, and the friendship Jim Kowalczik shares with Jimbo the Kodiak bear is a beautiful one.
Jimbo was born in captivity. Therefore, when the animal park where it grew up was closed, the beast couldn't stay in the wild either. Kowalczik found the poor cub and decided to foster it in his Orphaned Wildlife Center, based in Otisville, New York.
Since then, the two have been close friends. Whenever Jimbo feels under the weather, Kowalczik is always there to provide it with comfort and help. Early February this year, a sweet moment when the kind-hearted man stayed beside his 24-year-old animal friend was captured and touched thousands of hearts.
The video ended with more loving pats from Kowalczik, and Jimbo snuggling to him again, resting its head on the caretaker's lap. Enjoy the beautiful moment here:
With terrible things that happen in the decaying world, it's happy to see Kowalczik show his love and affection to Jimbo the gentle bear in such a sweet moment. Please share it with your family and friends.

Kowalczik was caught on camera hugging the bear around its head before extending his gloved hand to rub Jimbo along its neck. He kept his hand there until he was able to settle in to the animal, sit down and put off his gloves. Putting his hand into Jimbo's mouth, he calmly looked at it while the bear was licking his hand.Source: Orphaned Wildlife Center
Jimbo seemed to be very relaxed to stay with the man. Kowalczik patted the beast on the snout and petted it a few more times, before it bumped him in the leg, making him say 'Ow!' with a bit of a chuckle.Source: Orphaned Wildlife Center
