We've been getting more familiar with pets saving their owners in the most critical situations. Pets are loving creatures that refuse to give up their humans even though they are at their worst. On December 14, a woman named Kelly Andrew shared a post on Twitter showing the pride in her ‘hero’ pet pooch, Henry, who saved her baby's life as she stopped breathing during the night.
While pets rely on humans for almost all activities of their lives, they are believed to have a special ability to sense the owners being at risk or in danger. It is no surprise that the touching post has gained over 250K likes since it was shared.
As people were showing their concern about her baby's condition, the woman claimed that her child was recovering quickly. People gave their best wishes for the baby and the dog as well.
A person left a comment, "I am so very happy that your baby is doing OK. Give that dog a bone please." While another complimented Henry and talked about how dogs make our lives better, “Oh wow! Dogs are just incredible. I hope Henry gets ALL the treats!! Bless him, not just a good boy but a fantastic hero boy. Glad baby is doing OK.”
There were some people who shared similar experiences they had with their beloved pets. An example was the story of a Netizen called Molly: "We couldn't p out for the longest time why my service dog kept going into my parents room several times a night sniffing my dad's face and nudging him repeatedly. They always pushed her away and she would still circle back. She stopped as soon as he got his pacemaker."
To reply to people's regards, Kelly created another post with a picture of Henry himself following a message "Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone. The baby is doing much better today and we are home with Henry, who bravely held the fort all night even though he is scared of the dark."

Kelly started by explaining the case. Her nine-month-old daughter had been in serious sickness and was finally taken to the hospital on December 13. That night was difficult for both Kelly and her husband, but the parents seemed not to notice something wrong with their baby. Henry, however, could sense that things were getting worse.Source: KayAyDrew
"He kept breaking into the nursery and waking the baby. She’s been sick, and I was getting so fed up with him. Until she stopped breathing," wrote Kelly. While pets rely on humans for almost all activities of their lives, they are believed to have a special ability to sense the owners being at risk or in danger. Last night the dog kept breaking into the nursery and waking the baby. She’s been sick, and I was getting so fed up with him.
Until she stopped breathing.
We spent the night in the hospital. I don’t know what would have happened if he hadn’t woken her. We don’t deserve dogs. pic.twitter.com/PBJCJVflgh
