Dogs Ask To Enter Ambulance With Owner And Refuse To Leave Him Alone At Hospital

Being loyal is a typical characteristic of every dog. You may hardly see a dog abandoning its owner just because he/she is sick or in danger. Bob and Chiara, the two loyal dogs, are great examples of that.

On November 1st, their owner, José Antônio Pereira, was fortunately saved from convulsions by Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) in Bauru, Brazil. The man, 47, was found lying on the ground beside his two dogs who were trying their best to protect him. Rosy and Lourdes (ambulance personnel) calmed down the dogs so that they could provide José with first aid.
Bob and Chiara didn't lose track of their beloved owner. Even after he was taken into the ambulance, they stayed outside running around the vehicle as if they were asking for a way to enter. People decided to bring them along in the ambulance.

On the way to the hospital, the pets stood by their owner, making sure that he was okay. Letting them go inside with the sick man, Rosy and Lourdes thought that it was the best choice. If they hadn't brought them along, the dogs would have run after the ambulance and got injured.

At the hospital, José was rushed to the emergency room where his two loyal dogs were kept outdoor. But there wasn't a single second they thought of abandoning him. The dogs waited outside until their owner felt better and was moved to the recovery room.

José spent one night under observation. The next day, his condition was stable enough to come back home. He must be proud of his two pets who stay as best friends and never leave him when he is at his worst.
