30 Spooky Illustrations By Fran Krause That Speak Out "Deep Dark Fears" In Each Person

Susanna Grace

As humans, we all have fears. Besides the common fears like spiders, height, or loneliness, there are other ones that we decide to keep for ourselves. The fact that they are not 'traditional' fears doesn't make them less valid. Fear can hold its own story, which is normal if someone wants to hide or share it. Through his project, Fran Krause, a California-based artist, hopes to create a channel for everyone to join and speak out their deepest and darkest fears. This is a good way to overcome what people are afraid of and learn to handle it.
The project, Deep Dark Fears, started in 2014  aiming to turn people's biggest fear into watercolor comics. Fran Krause has asked his followers to tell him what scares them and illustrated it in a funnier and less creepy way. Thanks to his spooky illustrations, the artist has gained more than 380K followers on Instagram and each of his posts is loved thousands of times. Today, we are going to give you thirty comics from his illustration series "Deep Dark Fears". We hope you'll enjoy them. If you want to join Fran's project, please submit your fears via this link. Since 2015, this talented artist has already published his two books about which you can find more details here.
