Instructors Share Desperate Texts They Received During A Parenting Project Where Students Take Care Of Fake Babies

Daniel Figaro

Raising tiny humans is never an easy job. It'd be great if the kids could understand the efforts of their parents, a little will be good enough. And Chippewa Secondary School had a brilliant idea to do so. Students at this school have an annual project where they need to take care of babies on their own, fake babies, of course. That sounded great and easy as a piece of cake for those who like playing a family game. Well, it turned out not to be so good, though.
Students took those fake babies home for just one weekend, and they completely messed up. They soon learned that it's not easy at all to take care of a baby. And when they needed help, students looked for the instructor. The texts they sent are pure embodiments of the desperation, helplessness, and misery they went through in those couple of days. Yet, it's amusing to see those kids learn the very first parenting lessons in their life. Keep scrolling down and enjoy your time.
