When watching a movie, understanding what the actors are saying seems to be just a cup of tea. Yet it is somehow a tall order for many viewers that they can’t catch up with what the actors are saying at some point during the movie. Actors sometimes are prone to speak too fast or don’t have clear pronunciation.
In particular, there are many actors who are not American tie viewers up in knots with their accents. It’s so strange so that American viewers have to use subtitles to understand what they are saying. For that, it could spoil their emotion for the scene a little bit.
