Alexandra Grant, Keanu Reeves' Girlfriend, Reveals The Real Reason Why She Doesn't Dye Her Hair

It's no secret that the beauty sector has long promoted the notion that coloring your hair keeps you looking young. However, Alexandra Grant has a different viewpoint. The gifted artist and Keanu Reeves' exclusive girlfriend explained why she doesn't color her hair at all.

Alexandra Grant is a gifted artist and philanthropist who received media recognition for both her unconventional approach to beauty and her connection with Keanu Reeves. She joyfully accepts her natural grey hair, which she first noticed in her early twenties, at the age of 49.
She posted an article on Instagram about research that revealed, particularly for women of color, that using chemical hair straighteners and permanent hair dyes increased the risk of breast cancer. Grant underlined the significance of taking the study seriously while expressing her shock.

Grant outlined: “I went gray prematurely in my early 20s... and dyed my hair every color along the way until I couldn’t tolerate the toxicity of the dyes anymore. In my 30s, I let my hair turn ‘blonde." She expressed support for a woman's right to decide how she wants to look at any age as she ended her Instagram post.
But she emphasized that it's crucial to have a discussion about beauty standards if they're harming people. Grant also used the term "womxn," which is an intersectional term meant to be more inclusive of non-binary people, women of color, and transgender people. She then expressed her love for all women.

Everyone's hair will eventually lose its hue, Grant added, whether it becomes gray, silver, white, or mousy brown. Hair dyes are frequently recommended as a way to "fix" something that isn't actually a problem for those who begin losing color early in life. According to Grant, there hasn't been adequate study or consultation on the possible health risks associated with utilizing these items.

She added that the pressure to meet unrealistic beauty standards would start to lessen as more well-known people accept their natural hair. More women may be inspired by this to accept their natural hair and feel comfortable in their own skin.
