According to The Sun, Adele had to take some time out and leave the stage during a pain in her back this weekend.

She told the crowd, “I am going to sit down and rest my sciatica.” The famous singer reportedly added that she had been "bragging" about recovering from the painful back condition, but probably she'd got too cocky as "God brought it back."

Seen limping across the stage, Adele might've been in pain but she still kept her trademark British wit. She even made a joke with the crowd, “I’ve got two more [songs], I've just got to get over to the other side of the stage. I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica.”

The NHS gave an explanation that sciatica is where the sciatic nerve, which runs from your lower back to your feet, is irritated or compressed. people with sciatica may feel stabbing, burning or shooting pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness in their back (usually close to the lowest back) or feet and toes. But this isn't the first time Adele has talked about living with back pain.

In an interview with The Face in 2021, the Someone Like You Grammy winner also disclosed, “I've been in pain with my back for, like, half of my life, really. It flares up, normally due to stress or from a stupid bit of posture.” She really credited the back pain -or, rather, waiting to get rid of it - with part of her journey to lose weight. She detailed, “Where I got my tummy strong, down at the bottom, which I never had before, my back doesn't play up as much. It means I can do more, I can run around with my kid a little bit more.”
