Abandoned Dog Who'd Lost All Hope Finds Forever Family Thanks To Viral Facebook Post

Pets are as sensitive as humans. They understand their owners' affection and love to be caressed. When they are left alone, they feel sad and hopeless, as we all do. Unexpected things often take place and cause misfortune to those sensational furry fellows. However, life is full of miracles that will come to humans and animals with big loving hearts.

A beagle mix puppy left at the beginning of 2021 at The Greene County Animal Shelter of Virginia was named Lucky since the rescuers wished he could be met with all the best lucks in this world. Lucky was adopted in March 2021 by a family that held him precious. The dog enjoyed his time beside them without knowing a storm was on its way.
After a year of living side by side, Lucky's family was surprised by the massiveness he grew to be. They tried to cope with the uncomfortableness but couldn't handle it, so the huge woofing boy was returned to the shelter in September 2022.

Being left behind by his beloved humans, Lucky was struggling at the shelter. He was not as joyful and full of energy as before since he missed the warm hugs of his family. Despite his large size, the lovely canine always thought he was a lap dog and loved to play with people. Plus, he behaved well and was gentle to other dogs and cats.

Lucky got more anxious as more people visited the shelter without caring about him. After a month of being ready for adoption, he received no interest because most of the pet owners didn't like to bring home a big dog. The caretakers were worried as he appeared to give up, so they posted about Lucky on their Facebook page to tell his story and ask for help from pet-loving communities.

Luckily, the post went viral and reached over 130,000 people. A couple of days later, the colossal sweetheart was welcomed by his new family, who was willing to love him and his big body for the rest of his life. Though Lucky seemed to need some time to open his heart to the new family, everyone was definitely overjoyed.
