30 Entertaining Paintings By Torbjørn Lien That’ll Push You Back To The Childhood Animated World

There are countless new comic book creators popping up every day, yet it can be more tiresome to keep one's reputation as a cartoonist alive than to gain it in the first place. The maxim states that while our lives and jobs change, a person’s love for comic books cannot be applied to everyone. Nonetheless, only a few do, like Torbjørn Lien. It is amazing how he’s managed to keep drawing comics for more than 20 years and it appears that he has no plans to stop. Keep your eyes out for how he deftly uses humor to turn serious issues into humorous pieces of art!
Norwegian native Torbjørn Lien is 54 years old. Donald Duck, a Walt Disney comic book published in Norway, helped him learn to read when he was six years old. He read comic books every day as a young child. He started making his own work at the age of nine. He also printed his drawings for his friends in his birthplace of Mosjen, Nordland. When he was 16, a major comic book magazine published his comics. This man is most known for his comic book series “Kollektivet,” which he began in 2001.
Lien had his two-decade-old series translated into English for a greater audience to enjoy. But that is just the surface of his relationship with comics; there is more to it than that. The well-known American cartoons, including Calvin and Hobbes, Redeye, Beetle Bailey, Hägar the Horrible, and Mad Magazine, had a significant impact on his sense of humor. He also wrote for the ground-breaking Norwegian role-playing game “Imperum 3000.”
Below are 30 of Torbjørn Lien’s funniest and most timely comics. Who asserts this aristocrat doesn’t deserve such amazing and inspiring supporters?
