When it comes to princesses, many people immediately think of
Disney and the films that have followed the audience for many years. From Snow White, and Cinderella to Elsa and Moana, all these Disney princesses have become a "phenomenon" through Disney's
Movies.
While they have different backgrounds, various appearances, and diverse personalities, all Disney beauties share the same traits: kindness, passion, and determination. Therefore, we started to imagine and analyzed which royals would be most likely to pair up as BFFs based on their character traits.

#1 Cinderella and Rapunzel would be best friends!

Cinderella (from "Cinderella") and Rapunzel (from "Tangled") have surprisingly similar backgrounds: they spend their days caring for the homes in which they are enslaved and both yearn to be free. Despite their ups and downs, Cinderella and Rapunzel are always optimistic. Each has a talent for forming friendships in unexpected places, so it's sure to find a bond in the other.
#2 Ariel and Tiana might not be friends

Ariel (from "The Little Mermaid") and Tiana (from "The Princess and the Frog") are similar in certain aspects. They're confident, strong, and completely focused on their goals. They even undergo magical, physical transformations into totally different species. However, that's still not enough to make up for their fundamental difference. Ariel is kind but naive when she trusts an evil witch to achieve her dream. On other hand, Tiana knows that she should stay away from Shadow Man. Her intelligence and attitude are the polar opposites of Ariel’s. Though they wouldn't be enemies, it’s difficult to see them as besties.

The ocean is important to the lives of both Moana (in "Moana") and Ariel, but that's not why they become best friends. They are both young, cheerful, independent, and love to venture beyond the safety of their homes. Though Moana wants to explore the ocean and Ariel wants to leave it, the pair might easily go on excursions together.
#4 Merida and Cinderella might not be friends

Merida (from "Brave") is different from the Disney Princesses not only because she is a Pixar Princess, but also because she doesn't need her prince and follows her own path free of social expectations. It's Merida's brash nature that would probably conflict with Cinderella, a girl prone to daydreams and doesn't like adventure. Therefore, they might not be best friends.
#5 Tiana and Belle would be best friends!

Tiana (from "Princess And The Frog") and Belle (from "Beauty And The Beast") share many similarities. Tiana loves to cook while Belle loves reading. They may be isolated from the outside world because of this, but they also enjoy spending time alone. Even though Tiana is much more of a realist than Belle, they'd definitely complement each other well.
#6 Raya and Aurora might not be friends

Because Raya’s and Aurora’s films ("Raya And The Last Dragon" and "Sleeping Beauty", respectively) were released more than 60 years apart, everything has changed, including what it means to be a Disney Princess. Aurora faces real dangers in her life but she is still so innocent and pure that she can't save herself during the climax of her own movie. In Raya's chaotic world, she spends years defending herself and she remains vigilant for a long time after being betrayed by Namaari. So, there's no way she'd associate with someone as naive as Aurora.
#7 Mulan and Merida would be best friends!

Mulan and Merida don't fit the stereotypical princess stereotype. Each struggles to meet the expectations placed on women in their society. Mulan was shunned for failing to prove herself fit as a future wife, while Merida refused to marry for the sake of her kingdom. All they want is for those close to them to be proud and accept them for who they are. This bold and stubborn pair would get along and share their interests like fighting and horseback riding.
#8 Jasmine and Snow White might not be friends

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was the first Disney princess film to be released in 1937, and Snow White fit the feminine cinematic stereotype prevailing at the time. On the other hand, because Jasmine was written in the 1990s, she is significantly more confident, assertive and powerfu. Considering she strongly opposes the prejudices of the miserable man in distress, it's unlikely that Jasmine will find a kindred spirit in Snow White. Even so, she will surely appreciate Snow White's kindness and optimism.
#9 Anna and Rapunzel would be best friends!

Anna (from "Frozen") and Rapunzel (from "Tangled") would have roughly the same personality traits. They are brave, approachable, extroverted, and almost exuberant to the point of exhaustion. Each wants to believe in the best in people and tries to keep their spirits intact even when rejected by their own sister or stepmother. Therefore, they could definitely be besties. Moreover, Disney fans discover that Rapunzel even attended Elsa's coronation (in "Frozen").
#10 Elsa and Pocahontas might not be friends

Elsa (from "Frozen") isn't an easy woman to make friends with. The majority of Elsa'syouth and adolescence was ruled by fear, building a wall around her heart that even her sister struggled to break it. Pocahontas (from "Pocahontas") isnot like Elsa's situation. She has many relationships outside of her family. She has her best friend Nakoma, and gets along well with Kocoum despite not wanting to marry him. Both are warm and friendly, but it will be difficult for them to come out of their shells enough to become best friends.
