This picture of the flying bald eagle with a flawless symmetrical reflection in the water below was caught by Steve when he was roaming around Canadian Raptor Conservancy in Ontario. In the picture, the bird was swooping toward the man while staring at him with fierce eyes.

Steve became a serious amateur photographer after working for a business for over 10 years. He admitted that he didn't think the snap was so perfect when he shot it. “I definitely rank it as my top image and did not know when I shot it how it had turned out,” he shared. “It was only later when I went through my images and cropped in closer on him did I realize how perfect it looked with him squared off perfectly and staring daggers at me.”

Mesmerized by the stunning eagle, Steve tried to get closer to the bird. The photographer was passionate about his chance, but the bald eagle seemed not to share the same feeling.

“I had decided to get down close to the water on a rock at the edge, and he was, I think, annoyed with me being so close. He flew towards me, staring at me often and then a couple of times, definitely close enough for me to feel a breeze. Others in the group were commenting on how close he came,” Steve remembered.

The bird seemed annoyed when he saw someone entering his territory, so he glared at the man and flew toward him many times to keep him out of the border. Steve said: “He was staring quite a bit at me, and when I moved away from the rock to get some pics of him landing, he swooped straight to it as if to say, ‘This is my territory, pal.'”
In the picture below, it was undoubtedly that the bird was glaring to warn the photographer against stepping his foot in the area.

Steve was thrilled when many complimented these pictures after he posted them on social media. “The response has been completely overwhelming and unexpected, I knew the image was good but it just seems to strike a chord and resonate with so many people. I’m humbled and thankful by all the love and comments and likes given.”
