Dakota Kai is a famous professional female wrestler from New Zealand. She is a notable athlete, a former NXT Women’s Tag team Champion and also a WWE Superstar.

Dakota Kai was born as Cheree Georgina Crowley, on May 6th, 1988 in Auckland, New Zealand. She has not revealed much about her private life. However, we have known that her mother is from Lepea, a village on the island of Upolu in Samo. Otherwise, she has two younger siblings which are Cyrene and Earl. She adopted the ring name Evie, claiming it was inspired by her favorite Pokémon, Eevee. That was also her very first ring name. 4 years later, she came to Sydney and performed under Pro Wrestling Alliance Australia for its annual PWWA show. Evie won over Kellie Skater there. The next year, 2012, she earned the title Impact Pro Wrestling NZ Women's Champion for beating Britenay and Megan Fox.
