8 Young Stars Who Really Lack Parental Guidance

There's hope that kids can learn to do things like pour their cereal and wipe their own bottoms. They'll get their degrees, hopefully, land good careers, and then enter adulthood. They may even marry and have their own children, carrying on the family tradition, but they will always rely on their parents.
Although these nine famous people are either adults or on their way there, they could all use some parental guidance and a prayer from the good Lord. Before these renowned people utterly kill themselves, someone should call their parents.

Was there any doubt a Kardashian would appear? Instead of guiding parents, they got the momager and Caitlyn, who don't chime in on their jobs. While wealthy, the Kardashian and Kardashian-Jenner offspring have relationship problems. Kourtney's problems with Scott, Kim's with Kanye, and Khloé's with an infidelity scandal. Kylie is making up for Kendall's lack of dating drama.
Kylie Jenner is growing up too quickly. She didn't "officially" date rapper Tyga until she was 17, but they were playing house before that (and in her house at that). Kylie dominated the party scene and dated Travis Scott. First-time parents!

If this actress's mother doesn't salvage her career or reputation, she can at least remove her eye makeup. Taylor Momsen was a lovely blonde with potential. You may remember her from The Grinch or Gossip Girl when she was much younger. Momsen began her grunge transition after landing Gossip Girl.
If I were that kid's mother, I'd have moved her to off-the-map Montana. Taylor's mom didn't do as much, so she now fronts the Pretty Reckless with heavy makeup, leather clothes, and underwear-like costumes. She says music is her actual passion, and she doesn't have the finest reputation in Hollywood. She's an on-set brat.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-offspring Smith are archetypal Hollywood products. They do and say anything they want, making them Tinsel Town pariahs. Their entertainer parents are quite hands-off. Will has said they may have supported their kids' free speech too far. Willow causes a stir by posing underage with an older man while the two are naked in the image. Was this "art" or uninvolved parenting?

Since bursting onto the scene, the young Brit has faced many challenges. Along with fame's flash and glamour came demons and dark sides. Zayn has suffered significant anxiety and an eating disorder, causing him to cancel gigs. The tatted heartthrob looked calm and collected on the surface, but his mental health troubles suggest otherwise.

She was Zayn Malik's high-profile lover for more than two years; he required his mommy's strong hand. She's a hot mess like Zayn was, which may explain their March 2018 breakup (although there have been recent murmurings and sightings, so we may not have seen the last of these two gorgeous humans). She's the daughter of Yolanda Foster (a former model) and Mohamed Hadid (a real estate entrepreneur), loves to party and shows no signs of slowing down.

Amanda Bynes fell slowly and painfully. She was one of the biggest child stars of the '90s and '00s, but she started doing some disturbing things that pointed to her demise. She was often arrested for DUI, reckless endangerment, and possession. Her parents should have parented her at this point.

Three New Jersey brothers gained prominence on the Disney Channel in 2005. Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas made girls crazy. Preteens loved these three handsome guys. Joe is the middle child and has started his musical career. As a rock star, the once-good-kid went rogue. His ultraconservative mother probably didn't like it. Nick dated older Kate Hudson. He's started writing racy lyrics compared to his straight-and-narrow music of yesteryear and has been mouthy with paparazzi and journalists.

If I were Shailene Woodley's mother, I'd tell her to tone it down. Did this child get attention? We're not sure, given how aggressively she strives to get attention these days. Shailene doesn't set her possessions on fire or go into rehab but has bothersome habits. Mothers hate annoying kids. Shailene speaks oddly in interviews. Someone, like her parents, should teach her how to speak to others, especially since she's in the public eye.
