22 Celebrities Who Wore Bridal-Worthy Gowns On The 2022 Met Gala Red Carpet

Welcome to the Met Gala, the world's most prestigious fashion event. Established in 1948, the annual gala takes place on every first Monday of May. Every year, attendants will be given a theme and are expected to follow it. The theme of 2022 is Gilded Glamour, which is primarily inspired by New York's Gilded Age.
According to this year's theme and dress code, participants have to wear the traditional white-tie attire, the most formal dress code of all. It was not going to stop a little creativity, however. As a matter of fact, some celebs have their garments altered, so that they can feel comfortable enough even when complying with the strictest dress code.
These 22 female celebrities attended the 2022 Met Gala dressed to the nines. Some of the dresses shown in here even have a story behind their creation. Let's take a look.
