Stray Cat Siblings Can't Stop Hugging Until They Get Adopted Together
It is obvious that animals have feelings like humans, and sometimes people might be startled due to their closeness. One real-world example of this is the cat brothers in the story below.
She remembered: “My best friend bought a new home, and the very first week they moved in, a stray came up onto their porch and had kittens. [My sister] took them in and planned to find homes for them all. I’d go over to visit, and the little fluffy orange guy named Simon ... who had such a spunk.”
“I’d go to visit Simon and when I’d pick him up, the shy, fluffy black one started jumping up into my arms along with Simon,” Green stated. “They’d wrap their arms around each other and just gaze with such love at me. If I said anything, they’d move their little heads in tandem like they were one.”
“They were just so connected,” Green recalled. “I described them as night and day, complete opposites, yet they needed each other to be whole. When I had them neutered, the vet said they complained so much they had to break protocol and put them to recover in the same cage.”
“When we lost Simon at the age of 16, I knew Sabastian wouldn’t let his brother leave without him. He passed less than a month later,” Green said. “I know wherever they are, they’re hugging.”

The pets' mother, Colleen Green, shared that a stray cat came to her friend’s place and gave birth to two lovely kitties, an orange one named Simon and a black called Sebastian. She was into Simon due to his spirit, so she intended to adopt him.She remembered: “My best friend bought a new home, and the very first week they moved in, a stray came up onto their porch and had kittens. Unexpectedly, the black kitten always climbed up on Green's arms whenever she hugged his sibling, then the two stared at her with a sweet look. They acted as if the only way to take one of them was to have both.“I’d go to visit Simon and when I’d pick him up, the shy, fluffy black one started jumping up into my arms along with Simon,” Green stated. “They’d wrap their arms around each other and just gaze with such love at me. If I said anything, they’d move their little heads in tandem like they were one.”

At first, Green insisted that she could take care of only one of the siblings. However, eventually, she gave in due to their strong feelings and remarkable efforts after many similar incidents.Source: COLLEEN GREEN
Living with two fluffy balls, the owner was relieved as she had changed her mind at the last minute to take both to her home. She could not imagine how they would live without each other, and it would be awful if she tried to separate them. Though their distinct fur color made them look like cheese and chalk, that did not affect their intimate bond. They were together for days and nights, through thick and thin, and even looked for each other when they were in the vet clinic.“They were just so connected,” Green recalled. “I described them as night and day, complete opposites, yet they needed each other to be whole. When I had them neutered, the vet said they complained so much they had to break protocol and put them to recover in the same cage.”

The pair was so adorable that it was hard not to fall for them. The cat's love for each other was really touching and enviable. “They were a really special pair. [Loving them] was a very easy thing to do,” their mother claimed. After having a pleasant life, Simon passed when he was 16, and Sabastian followed him after a few weeks. It seemed as if even death could not tear the clever and intimate duo apart.“When we lost Simon at the age of 16, I knew Sabastian wouldn’t let his brother leave without him. He passed less than a month later,” Green said. “I know wherever they are, they’re hugging.”
