Out of the thousands of great bands, songwriters, and performers, it's almost impossible to choose the nine best rock artists. But trying it was sure a lot of fun. Some artists had huge effects that only lasted a few years, but they still ruled the charts and culture for the rest of their lives. Other artists have had such a big effect on the world that their music and styles have stuck around for a long time.
Your favorite things won't be on the list very often. It's just a numbers game, you know! and we can't include everyone who has made a difference in our lives. His confidence, style, and charm made him appear from another planet. And in 1956, the rock and roll king dropped his hit song "Heartbreak Hotel," which changed music for good.

Hendrix not only made it possible for guitarists to try new things, but he also helped change rock music from the beginning of the 1960s to the end of the decade.
