The cat had to undergo an ultrasound scan, so they shaved his stomach. Luckily, the cat was in perfect condition, but doctors found a full belly instead of the empty one as expected. It turned out that this cat had eaten enough food from the neighbor for three days, so he did not have a desire to take more.

The owner posted the cat snap with the caption: “Cat didn't eat for 3 days, went to the vet where they did an ultrasound only to find a belly full of the neighbor's cat's food”. This post has gone viral and received over 48,000 upvotes from Reddit.
Many studies have proved that cats are natural predators, so even domesticated ones still keep their instinct to forage food. Therefore, pet cats could feed themselves by hunting small animals such as birds and fish. Those research may explain why the cat in this story found food by himself so that he could have a hunting experience, which fosters the cat's wellbeing.

Netizens found this story hilarious and called the sneaky cat nicknames such as “scammer” or “little jerk”. The photo showed that the thief was quite satisfied with his fullness, no matter what he looked like with his shaved belly. Nobody could point out any signs of guilty in his face after stealing food and being caught. Some Redditors also suggested the poster switch the cat food to suit his taste.
