Grumpy Husband Uses "Amber Heard's Tactic" To Make His Wife Do Pet Chores Properly And Hygienically

There is an Asian idiom "Third time lucky" which means that when someone is making attempts, he (she) has reached the third shot, it will be either a big success or a complete fail. It might not always be the case for everyone, but at least for a frustrating husband trying to solve his family's pet dog's unsanitary chores. If you're curious now, let's scroll down to read the whole story!

The original poster shared his experience with his Reddit account name u/Reasonable-Koala-488 on the hot viral subreddit r/AmItheA**hole. He detailed that he wasn't fond of pets but had bought his wife and child a beautiful Rottweiler puppy, which he had agreed only if these two took the responsibility of taking care of the puppy. His wife had been doing all the pet chores as well as having the dog vet checked periodically. The dog turned four years old and was a sweetly smart one.

The only thing upsetting the OP was that his wife had a problem with putting dog food cans and tool bags in the right place. He had found them everywhere in their house and yard but not in the trashbin, so he had discussed it with her twice, yet she still hadn't put her mind to the trouble. On the third time he saw a dog-dropping bag on the kitchen counter, he put that bag into his wife's shoe without any hesitation. Then, of course, she went raging with him.

Many Redditors didn't seem to have problems with the way the OP "communicated" with his wife. They didn't think it was gallant and generous but effective and fruitful. The OP informed them later that since that incident, he didn't find any dog food cans or tool bags randomly littered in his sight. Plus, the couple sat down and decided not to hold any grudge against each other about it.

Others wondered why the wife ignored her husband's reasonable request. They assumed she wanted him to share the pet duty, but she couldn't speak out because she had promised him to take all the charges. Therefore, she tried to signal him with her trash-and-poop strategy. Responding to them, the OP revealed that his family was just forgetful, and he still loved them a lot. Some people had different thoughts. They expected the OP to react more maturely if he really knew his spouse hadn't done it on purpose.
