The wonderful part about a live show is that anything can happen. Famous singers may, for example, get exposed for lip-syncing, occasionally forget the lyrics or even trip over their feet. Some of these situations are enough to make anyone feel embarrassed. What're more, moments like these happen all the time!
Sometimes, we think celebrities are superhuman, but the reality is they're simply ordinary people like the rest of us — and they occasionally trip over their own two feet. Fortunately, when it occurs to us, just a few people notice, but when a
celebrity falls, all eyes are on them. And, for some reason, many of these memorable falls occur when the celebrity in question is performing or getting an award, so moments like these are eternally kept on camera.

#1 Meghan Trainor

While wrapping off a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2016, Meghan Trainor lunged for the mic stand and fell to the floor, taking the microphone with her. When that occurred, Jimmy was close and assisted her in standing up before they both laughed off the situation.

The Armani cloak Madonna was wearing failed to separate from the rest of her gown as intended when she was performing at the 2015 Brit Awards. Later, she explained on Instagram that the incident had occurred because the cape had been fastened improperly.

Awards events seem to be a good venue for celebrities to lose big. At the 2008 Primetime Emmys, Heidi Klum was dumped by her cohost Tom Bergeron and ended up on the ground. But since this is Heidi, we hardly even noticed when she perspired.

Katy Perry was dressed as Ariel from The Little Mermaid when she slipped off of her chair on the judges' panel. The audience could only see Katy's fins in the air since the camera was on Ryan Seacrest when it finally focused on her.

Katy Perry is known for having mishaps when performing! She tripped when performing at the MTV Latin America Awards in 2008 and fell to the ground on her back. But she bounced back from it just as brilliantly as she did on American Idol!

Jennifer Lawrence fell as she ascended the steps to the platform in 2013 to receive her Academy Award for best actress for Silver Linings Playbook. Fortunately for her, the majority of the audience found the situation adorable rather than embarrassing.

Leave it to Oprah Winfrey to trip and fall on stage while maintaining her composure. Oprah appeared to trip on her own feet while speaking at the 2020 Vision Tour, landing on her butt. After she hit the ground, she attributed her fall to her shoes.

Even a seasoned polo player like Prince Harry can lose control of his mount, as occurred to him in 2010 while he was participating in the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. At least he didn't get wounded and seemed to take it in stride.

Even though this one was deliberate, it still qualifies because of how memorable it was. At the 2015 Time 100 gala, Amy Schumer purposely stumbled and fell in front of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the red carpet. The fact that it dominated conversation for days after it occurred indicates that it had the desired impact.

This one was intentional, but it still counts since it was so memorable. Amy Schumer purposefully tripped and fell in front of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on the red carpet at the 2015 Time 100 gala. It achieved the desired effect since it dominated talk for days after it happened.
#12 Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber fell into a hole on the stage during a concert in Canada during his 2016 global tour, and it was really terrible to see. It appears like he may have banged his head while falling. He rapidly recovered and was able to continue the act, which was fortunate.
#13 Zendaya

In February 2022, Zendaya was in Rome when she tripped while attempting to enter a structure. The good news is that she was caught by her security team before she touched the ground because they were nearby, but it's undeniable that it was a rather awkward situation nonetheless!
#14 Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga was dancing on stage with a fan in Las Vegas in 2019 when the fan, who was supporting her, unintentionally dumped her, sending both of them sliding offstage. Even though the footage is rather graphic, the concert went on despite that significant occurrence.

While Beyoncé and sister Solange Knowles performed together at Coachella in 2018, they both ended up falling … together. Apparently, Solange was falling and Beyoncé tried to stop her, but regardless of how it happened, in the end, they both hit the ground. Hey, it happens to the best of us.
