In 2008, 2011, and 2017, the artist won from the National Cartoonists Society as the owner of the “Best Newspaper Panel” award for “Off the Mark” and the “Best Greeting Cards” award in 2013.
Mark Parisi truly paid a special thanks to Paul Newman, ‘Weird AI’ Yankovic, and the Dixie Chicks who used his comics in their projects. Currently, he’s working on other projects that are official Garbage Pail Kids sketch cards and a middle-grade novel, The Truth About 5th Grade, with writer Kim Tomsic. “Keeps me busy and I think being busy is important right about now.”
