Her first marriage, which lasted six years from 1935 to 1941, was to Turkish politician Burhan Asaf Belge. She wed businessman Conrad Hilton, the creator of Hilton Hotels, in 1942 before divorcing him in 1947.
From 1949 to 1954, she married actor George Sanders, and in 1962, she married investment banker Herbert Hutner. She divorced him in 1967 and then married oilman Joshua S. Cosden Jr. the following year.
She wed Barbie doll inventor Jack Ryan in 1975 before divorcing him in 1976. She married Michael O'Hara in the same year, and they later divorced in 1983. Then, from April 13 to April 14, 1983, she was briefly married to attorney Felipe de Alba. This union lasted just two days. Because her prior divorce was not yet completed, the marriage was considered illegal.
