Disney fans were delighted when Disney confirmed that they will bring the classic Hercules tale to the big screen in a new live-action feature film. The original film, released in 1997, with its attractive story and beautiful art, has amassed a huge fan base around the world.
Casting is one of Disney's most significant tasks. Disney hasn't officially confirmed the "Hercules" remake's cast, release date, or any other information, but fans have been busy building their wish lists of actors.
When considering the leading man in Disney's live-action "Hercules," there are so many amazing performers that come to mind. In many people's opinions, Chris Hemsworth, Zac Efron, Henry Cavill, and Brad Pitt have been the best candidates because they all suit the description of Hercules (a kind and brave hero).
According to Reddit, we have made a list of 10 actors Disney fans want to see in the live-action "Hercules." Scroll down to read and enjoy!

#1 Chris Pratt As Hercules

According to Redditor Billy Billerey 2, "Chris Pratt" is one name that has been suitable to be the older Hercules.
American actor Christopher Michael Pratt was born on June 21, 1979. His role as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom "Parks and Recreation" (2009–2015) helped him gain notoriety. Pratt became a well-known leading man in Hollywood.
Even though Pratt has the physique and acting skills to succeed in the role, Hercules in the animated movie is intended to be younger. When Hercules completes his training as a hero, he is eighteen years old. Hercules, although a hero, is still naive, which should be portrayed by a younger actor.

#2 Billy Porter As Hades

"Hades - Billy Porter," commented Redditor D o H.
One of "Hercules'" most memorable characters is Hades. Aside from being the major antagonist, Hades brings humor that fans of the original would like if it is included in the remake.
Billy Porter is an American actor, singer, and writer who was born on September 21, 1969. He is the first gay black man to be nominated and win a Primetime Emmy for leading performance. He was one of the top 100 global influencers in 2020. Billy Porter not only has the demeanor to play a villain, but also the vocal ability to take on a musical number that might be added to Hades' part of the movie, which he lacks in the animated version.

#3 Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, Janelle Monaé, Tracee Ellis Ross, And Amber Riley As The Muses

The Muses have some of the funniest remarks in "Hercules", but they also help move the plot along with energetic songs. There has been a lot of debate on who should play the five Muses; some of the names mentioned include Beyoncé and Lizzo. However, Redditor jdubbs21 offered "Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monae, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Amber Riley." They not only have singing and acting ability but also have strong chemistry on screen with each other.

#4 Jeff Bridges As Zeus

Though he only appears briefly in the movie, Zeus plays a crucial role in the story. Youngzling, a Redditor, said, "Zeus-Jeff Bridges."
Actor Jeffrey Leon Bridges was born in the United States on December 4, 1949. He is well known for his adaptability and has won numerous honors throughout a career spanning more than seven decades, including two Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award. He has experience working on several Disney live-action movies and has a voice that would suit Zeus.

#5 Jacob Elordi As Young Hercules

The majority of Hercules' life is portrayed in the film. Viewers watch Hercules as a child, youth, and adult. The role will probably be split into two different actors unless Disney can find an actor who is young enough to play both a teen and an adult. "Herc - Jacob Elordi," as recommended by Reddit user D o H.
Actor Jacob Elordi was born in Australia on June 26, 1997. He is well-known for playing Noah Flynn in the Netflix series "The Kissing Booth" and Nate Jacobs in the HBO drama "Euphoria."

#6 Danny DeVito As Phil

Danny DeVito has been mentioned in every post about the Phil role. jsylok was one of many who said, "Danny DeVito needs to play Philoctetes. It's the only way."
Daniel Michael DeVito Jr., an American actor, comedian, and director, was born on November 17, 1944. He rose to notoriety for his role in the television series "Taxi" (1978-1983), for which he received a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award.
It is difficult to imagine anyone else acting the character Phil after Danny DeVito's excellent performance, and it is obvious that fans feel the same way. Fans of "Hercules" love his distinct sense of humor and delivery of the line.

#7 John Mulaney And Nick Kroll As Pain And Panic

In the animated movie, Pain and Panic are a comedy dream team. So whoever plays them in the live-action version will need to be funny and have strong chemistry. Redditor C4llxm made the suggestion, "Pain-Nick Kroll, Panic-John Mulaney."
In Kroll's comedy "Big Mouth," these two actors have already collaborated. Their chemistry and humor show that they are suitable to play the roles.

#8 Elizabeth Gillies As Meg

Fans think Elizabeth Gillies was perfectly suited to play the role of Meg in "Hercules". Redditor Sudden_Scholar647 shared a whole fan cast slide show depicting Gillies as Meg.
Elizabeth Egan Gillies is an American actress and singer who was born on July 26, 1993. Gillies has a strong singing voice that would take her through the music scene and any other songs that may be added to the film.
