Swank stated that it reaches the point where people won't believe her when she tells them she isn't Garner, so she will back down. "They genuinely told me, 'Don't be a b—-h,'" she said. "I didn't want to ruin her reputation, so I took a picture with them. Someday, someone will remark, 'That's not Jennifer Garner.'" Swank stated that she informed Garner about it and was startled to learn she received the same treatment.
"I've talked to Mark about it because people come up to him and say, 'I adore you in 'The Bourne Identity,'" he explained. "So Mark and I have reached an agreement. If we are mistaken for each other, we must be as kind as possible." Damon claimed to have signed his name as Mark's.
