In Hollywood, actors may do everything to get into the characters, including losing weight. Sometimes it turns out to be massive pressure on actors and actresses. So some celebrities, who were asked to lose weight for their movie roles, immediately refused that suggestion.
We would applaud these celebs who bravely stand by their choices. In fact, losing weight in a short time contains many risks for their health. Some actors literally went to the hospital when they were filming. Some said they had to take a long time after finishing the last scene in their Movies to recover and were afraid of never being as strong as before. In addition, they love their bodies and have no intention to change them, even if they might have fewer movie roles as a result.

#1 Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie is regarded as one of the most recognizable actresses in her different movie roles. She refused immediately regarding a weight loss suggestion in The Legend of Tarzan. According to the actress, if she agreed with the director, she would follow a strict diet. She felt that was unnecessary.
“If she’s got a bit of weight on her, it’s probably a good thing,” she said.

#2 Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence didn’t want to lose weight for her role as Katniss in The Hunger Games, so she refused the requirement. Lawrence thought she could control her look on screen.
“I’m never going to starve myself for a part. I don’t want little girls to be like, ’Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I’m going to skip dinner.’ I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong, nothing and underfed,” she shared in an interview.

Sofia Coppola, Dunst’s director, told Kirsten Dunst that she needed to lose weight for her role in Beguiled. However, she turned down the offer; luckily, her director fully understood. “It’s so much harder when you’re 35 and hate working out.”
Kristen also said. “I’m eating fried chicken and McDonald’s before work. So I’m like, ’We have no options! I’m sorry I can’t lose weight for this role.’”

The Glee star was offered to lose weight when she auditioned for a role of a girl sitting in the corner and eating all day. Riley felt that was disrespectful and decided to stop going on auditions. Although Riley faced a lot of obstacles, she still managed to rise to stardom.

Even though Ashley is a size 2, she has been told she is too overweight for specific roles since she started her career. However, she refuses to lose weight because she believes it’s unnecessary.
“It has come up a few times in the last few years, like, ‘You’re too fat for this.’ And I’m just sitting here like, ‘Wait, what? Do you want a skeleton?”, she said.

Patricia Arquette debated with one of the producers when she was asked to lose weight while playing Allison Dubois in the TV series Medium.“I was like, ’This lady is a mother, she’s married, she’s got 3 kids. No,’” she said.

Sienna Miller was suggested to lose weight for her role of Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl. But she refused because she simply couldn’t follow a strict diet.
“Edie Sedgwick was skinnier than I was, so director George Hickenlooper wanted me to lose weight. But I can’t work that hard and not eat. He’d come and try to snatch bagels out of my hands,” she said.
