8 Times Celebrities Were Caught Fibbing Brazenly

When a celebrity's social media is mismanaged, it can produce a complete turnaround in public opinion toward them. Celebrities that embellish their age or post false information about their age on social media are certain ways to spark outrage online. Celebrities are not uncommon to be busted promoting laxative cocktails disguised as workout teas or living a fictitious life of luxury. Sometimes they use an app to quickly and crudely airbrush a thigh gap into their Instas.
It's only fair that famous people exposed to lying to their followers or the public should also face backlash from others who share their disdain for dishonesty. These examples of celebrity idiocy should serve as a cautionary tale about the perils of lying on social media. Look at the following list of famous people caught lying and rank the most embarrassing instances in which they were exposed.

Khloé Kardashian used Instagram to promote the idea that she performed a Thanksgiving miracle. She boasted that she had made all three pies alone in her post. She posted an Instagram photo with the caption, "Pumpkin, pecan, and cherry pies." May I mention that I am so incredibly pleased with myself?? Soon I will have a video of me baking and preparing for today's app release, which I recorded with a tripod in my kitchen. I enjoy challenging myself to see what I can create and complete effectively. All we can do now is hope they taste as good as they look. The ensuing monkey bread will be just amazing.

Soulja Boy appeared to have come into a large sum of money and was 'gramming on stacks of blank white paper.

In or around March of 2013, Lohan's many followers pointed out this unfortunate photoshop blunder.

5. Kim Kardashian

Kim's idea to blame a child was brilliant. This occurred in July of 2015 for Kim. She shared an image of herself in a bikini with the comment, " "When I was distracted by mobile phone games, North uploaded this. I have no idea what led her to pick it, but I won't complain! It was hilarious, so I removed it and reposted it myself."
