8 Stars Were Laid Off By Declaring Offensive S**t
Many in the Entertainment industry, including reality stars, A-list chefs, TV anchors, actors, journalists, and fashion designers, have all lost their jobs due to making offensive statements. They all have in common that while they were on the job, they allowed their mouths to get the best of them.
Individuals like Rush Limbaugh and Paula Deen stand out from the crowd because of the high-profile nature of their firings due to the humiliating statements they made in the past. Their inconsiderate comments caused great hurt, but they are not alone in this. In this day of quick communication, all it takes is one stupid tweet or Facebook post for a person to damage their reputation and their professional life completely.
The repercussions, though, were already in motion. "Roseanne's Twitter post is reprehensible, vile, and inconsistent with our values," said ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey in a statement published by the network.
