Britney Spears was one of the biggest pop sensations in the world at the beginning of the new millennium.
According to Tayler Adigun of Insider, Spears' first solo album, "Baby One More Time," was published in 1999. According to Rolling Stone, the album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, revolutionized pop music forever. It sold 10.6 million copies in the US, and as of 2019, it was one of 24 albums to surpass the 10 million-sale mark, according to Billboard.

Spears' financial and personal actions were under the conservator's authority.
