It all started on his 4th birthday, when Roman asked family members and friends not to give him any gifts and use that money instead to contribute to his favorite animal rescue organization.Source: Project Freedom Ride
“I think it's very important for the dogs I meet that I give them the best chance at finding the right home that they need,” Roman said. “I think a lot of other kids should be doing what I'm doing.”Source: Project Freedom Ride
With his mom Jennifer support and his family, his small act of kindness has evolved into Project Freedom Ride, an organization that helps rescue and transport animals from kill or overcrowded shelters in Georgia and Texas to Washington and other places, where they helped the dogs find new homes with loving humans.Source: Project Freedom Ride
His mom would film him playing with the rescue dogs and share them on Facebook so potential adopters can see how adorable and sweet the pups are.Source: Project Freedom Ride
“She posts it on Facebook so people can see it,” he explained. “I think it's very important for the dogs I meet that I give them the best chance at finding the right home that they need.”Source: Project Freedom Ride
Although Roman is so young, he tries his best to help poor dogs and animals because each of them deserves a better life than those in shelters. Roman also hopes that other children will hear his story and become interested in helping animals in their area.Source: Project Freedom Ride
For the great job he is doing, Roman won awarded from ASPCA, and we totally agree that he is the real one who deserves that award. The little boy is a good example for everyone out there, to help animals in need.Source: Project Freedom Ride
