Cliff Burton, a member of the rock band Metallica, was an American musician. Burton was born in Castro Valley, California, on February 10, 1962. Burton showed an early interest in music, and at the age of thirteen, he began playing the bass guitar. He was also interested in classical music, particularly Bach. EZ-Street was Cliff Burton's first band, which included Jim Martin and Mike Bordin. The band placed fourth in a local Battle of the Bands competition in 1979. Rabel Rabel was one of their hits.
