For the past few decades, transgender celebrities have proven their talents and passions in Hollywood. Some trans celebrities have also broken barriers to social norms and manners toward queerness. They use their successful profiles to encourage young queer people all over the world.
Thanks to those trans celebrities, our society is more and more sympathetic to the transgender community. These celebrities, who have also faced many hardships and obstacles in life, are paving the way for more queer and trans people to follow. It’s such a long journey to get people's recognition. The Wachowski sisters were famous for coming out as transgender. They made it big in Hollywood with the movie The Matrix which won over 40 awards and became one of the most famous movies in recent decades. They added that The Matrix which was a “trans metaphor” in 1999, was also the “desire for transformation” for the trans community at that time.

Nikkie de Jager was well-known for her Youtube channel name NikkiTutorials which now has 14M subscribers. She has inspired people by embracing both natural beauty and make-up beauty.

#8 Elliot Page

Elliot Page came out as a transgender man in 2020. His best-known role as Juno MacGuff from the 2007 Juno helps him appear on the cover of Time Magazine as the first trans man. But he first gain recognition with his role in the TV franchise Pit Pony (1997-2000) which was nominated for a Young Artist Award.

Brian Michael Smith came out as trans in 2017 and immediately got an opportunity to portray a trans character on the TV series, Queen Sugar. So he became the first transgender black man to take a role in the TV shows.
