At some point in our lives, we've all fantasized about discovering a forgotten treasure chest brimming with superb antique rarities that will supply us with an endless fortune. Such wishes come and go, but some people do manage to stumble upon a genuine lost wealth in the most unlikely of places. Of course, everyone's concept of a treasure is different, so ours includes items like ancient Viking swords, gemstones, and coins, as well as a nest of cute baby bunnies. After all, aren't adorable infant animals a rare find?
And, like with love, the most significant discoveries on our list were made when people stopped looking. You may waste an entire day dragging a metal detector over the floor. Here are 18 really cool things that people found. Lucky them!
