Some people have been forced to issue apologies, while others have stood their position and said they did nothing wrong. 1. Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart, known as America's housewife, is unlikely to cause controversy. She received five months in prison for covering her tracks during an insider trading probe in 2004. In 2008, Stewart's business travel to the UK was refused by UK immigration. The UK authorities deemed Stewart a threat enough to ban him from the entrance. Stewart has not returned to the UK since 2008.

2. Paris Hilton

After being denied entry to Japan in 2010, Paris Hilton returned home. Drug offenders face harsh Japanese immigration regulations. Hilton pleaded guilty to cocaine possession in Nevada two days before her travel to Japan. The country resisted her attempts to promote her businesses.
