Man Kicks His Mother-In-Law Out Of His House After She Ties His Dog To A Fence, Everyone Tells Him To Revaluate His Relationship

In-law relationships can be very complicated. We are sure that many of us have difficult relationships with our in-laws. And this is no exception to the man in this post!
Taking to Reddit, the 48-year-old man began his story by explaining that he and his girlfriend, Mariah, 40, had been together for two years. He owns a 3-year-old dog named Boots, who is treated like a family member and welcomed freely in the home and the fenced garden.

Mariah grew up in the South USA on a farm, so she viewed dogs as outside animals. "She never had an "indoor" dog like Boots and it was an adjustment to get used to him, but she loves him now," the man wrote.

Everything went well until Mariah's family came to visit the couple and had to stay in the man's home. Her mom kept making comments about Boots because she never got used to an indoor dog. He told them "gently" that Boots was friendly and wouldn't bother them, so they should let him stay indoors.

However, her mom didn't follow his rules. She put Boots outside and tied him to a fence using rope from kindling bundles. Filled with anger, he told Mariah's family to get out of his house. Mariah claimed she wasn't involved, and he believed her.

The man turned to Reddit to ask if he was at fault for kicking his girlfriend's family out of his house even when they had nowhere else to go. Most people agreed that the man was not wrong as Mariah's family are guests and don't make the rules. Some even advised the man to revaluate his relationship with Mariah.
