10 Celebrity Couples Who Have Been Together For Decades But Never Got Married

In today’s celebrity culture, love can be awfully short-lived. It seems like Hollywood couples come and go too fast, leaving fans who support their love disappointed.  However, there are still many celebrity couples who prove that long-lasting relationships do still exist in Hollywood, even without marriage. Their love is a testament to the saying: “If two hearts are meant to be together, no matter how long it takes, how far they go, how tough it seems, fate will bring them together to share their love forever.”

#1. Vin Diesel and Paloma Jiménez

Paloma Jimenez and Vin Diesel began dating in 2007. At that time, Vin Diesel was 40 years old whereas Paloma was only 24 years old. Despite age gaps, their love still blossomed. In 2008, the couple welcomed their first daughter together. And thereafter, two more children were born in 2010 and 2015 respectively. Even without the wedding knots, they still lived happily together.

The two met in 1986 at a charity event, the same year that The Oprah Winfrey Show premiered. In 1992, the pair got engaged and they planned to tie the knot in 1993. However, the year came and went but the celebrity couple never ended up at the altar. When rumors about their love began, Winfrey admitted to the press that she didn't want the sacrifices, the compromises, the day-in-day-out commitment required to make a marriage work.  Graham respected her choice and their love still stands the test of time.

Graham and Krause met the first time on Lea Thompson's show in the '90s. Later, in 2002, they reunited for the second time. However, it wasn't until 2010 that the pair had their third meeting. Graham called Krause her "favorite person to talk to" and the one that always made her laugh. People can't deny that they are like a match made in heaven.

Maya Rudolph has been with her longtime partner director Paul Thomas Anderson since 2001. The pair never married, but Rudolph decided to refer to Anderson as her "husband" following the birth of their first child in 2005, she told the New York Times: "People know what that means," she explained. "It means he’s the father of my child, and I live with him, and we are a couple, and we are not going anywhere." Together, they build a happy family with 4 kids.

Roberts began a romantic relationship with massage therapist Amber Laign in 2005. People rarely know that Robert was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Five years later, she was diagnosed with a rare blood and bone marrow disease called myelodysplastic syndrome and needed a bone marrow transplant in order to survive. Thankfully, Roberts's sister, Sally May, ended being a match and became her life-saving donor. However, recently, Roberts reveals her partner Amber also has breast cancer. Nevertheless, Roberts is positive and said they can help each other and overcome those difficulties.

Twenty years ago, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez met at Life nightclub in Manhattan and discovered that both studied at Parsons the New School of Design. The two have different characteristics but they have one thing in common: they have a passion for fashion and fashion has connected two people together. In 2002, the couple left school and established their Proenza Schouler brand. One of the factors that make their brand successful is the great combination of McCollough and Hermandez. They believe the greater sum of the individual parts is the secret to their success.

While the two had met a decade before they started dating, it wasn’t until an encounter at an event in 2015 that their love blossomed. After that event, they started following each other on Twitter. However, Paulson 45, and Taylor, 77, have encountered public scrutiny regarding their 32-year age difference. Despite the difficulties, their love still stands the test of time, and they have made LGBT relationships more prominent in Hollywood.

However, in November 2015, they call off their engagement because they couldn't compromise on where to live. Luckily, the couple reunited in early 2016. Being together through many ups and downs, their relationship is closer than ever.

Byrne and Cannavale have been in a relationship since 2012 and have two kids. Despite being together for almost a decade, people haven't seen them walking down the aisles. In a recent interview, Byrne opened up about the reason why they hadn't married. She explained that they've intended to get married several times over the years but something always comes up and makes them delay the wedding. For Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale, marriage obviously isn't at the top of their list.

Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell met in the lobby of the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles while Bibb was waiting to have dinner with friends and Rockwell was working on the movie Frost/Nixon. Their relationship has continued to thrive as the two co-starred in numerous films such as Iron Man 2, The Dark of Night,...When being asked about how they keep their relationship going strong after more than 10 years, Rockwell shared that they had a two-to-three-week rule and then they saw each other. If it's four or five weeks, they will get too independent.
