15 Actors Who Have Said They Hate Their Own Movies And Shows

Actors and actresses have the unique gift of being able to embody characters who exist in a film universe that looks nothing like their own. Many actors love what they do. However, they don't always have affection for some of their past roles. Not all creative ventures are pleasant ones, and the finished product isn’t always great. Some of them have kept their distaste for the films and shows in which they appear, only revealing their negative feelings about the project in interviews years after it was released.
The reasons that Hollywood A-listers detest their work have varied widely. In this post, we compiled a list of 15 actors who joked about, or straight-up hated, their films by sourcing and linking direct interview quotes from various media outlets over the years.
