When you want to use something that belongs to someone else, you have to ask for their permission. It's impolite to use without asking, and we are sure that no one can accept this rude action. However, when a Reddit user shared that she cut off the fur of her grandparent-in-law's cat without asking them, everyone sided with her. Keep on reading to see what happened and why Redditors supported her despite her impoliteness.

To start out, she asked, "AITA for cutting the fur of my grandparent-in-laws cat?"

She then explained that her in laws' cat had really matted long fur and needed to be cut off immediately. Because they weren't around, so she decided to help them and help their cat feel more comfortable. However, everything didn't go well as she thought. When her in laws got back and noticed that their cat's fur had been shaved due to the matting, they were pissed at her. Her husband supported her and said that she was right to do that, but they were still upset.

She couldn't understand why they were still angry even though she did them a favor and saved them a groomer bill. "They have 2 border collies and another long fur that they brush. Not to mention they are pretty active for their age. I know it is their pet, but it wasn’t fair to Willow."
Therefore, she decided to ask Reddit if she was wrong to do that. The responses came out pretty strongly in favor of her. Many commenters praised her for caring about a neglected animal in need. Scroll down to read their responses!
