Captain America is one of the most beloved characters in The MCU. There are multiple reasons why he can gain love from the audience like that. Apart from having an appealing looking, he also is a person of integrity and fearlessness. But every coin has two sides. He still has flaws and deficiencies, which are negative aspects of the character needing to remove.
No one is perfect, and neither is he. Steve Rogers was transformed from a skinny kid to a muscular and energetic superhero in American Army. 10. First Movie Feels Irrelevant By Now

Yes, based on my observation, the first and the remainders don't have a sense of relevance.This is a minor issue at most, but it does hold back Captain America and it's not a good look for him. His origin story took place decades before most battles and events in the MCU, and it was really just a chance to establish who he is. That's not saying much by modern MCU standards.
9. He Acts Weirdly About Girls

Steve Rogers doesn't treat women badly or look down on them by any means. He seems to think highly of his love interest Peggy Carter and he respects Black Widow's capabilities. However, he is charmingly awkward around most women, both before and after his super-soldier serum treatment.
8. Having Few Options In Battle

The Avengers vary in their equipment, powers, abilities, and battlefield roles, from the ranged support fighter Hawkeye to the sneaky Ant-Man and the powerhouse Hulk. Captain America is also powerful but he has a distinct weakness - he can't do much from a distance. Captain America simply cannot do anything to a foe who is too far away, even if he's good at throwing his shield at enemies who are a dozen meters away or so.
7. The First Costume Looked Real Cheap

His costume in 2016's Captain America: Civil War did look great but in Phase One, his costume looked cheap and silly, including its hood and basic color scheme. Aesthetically, he was one of the lower-ranked heroes, so it's a good thing that he upgraded.
6. He Is Exceedingly Rigid

Though this was one of Captain America's traits that he later let go of, his initial by-the-book nature was a pretty boring aspect of the character. Early on, Captain America caused some friction and unnecessary drama when he tried to project his uptight soldierly ways onto others, such as the famously roguish Tony Stark. Captain America came off as stiff and pretentious at first, which did him no favors at all.
5. Captain America Is Tech-Illiterate

Captain America sometimes held the Avengers back or simply inconvenienced himself by being 70 years behind on most matters. He made a real effort to catch up, which is good, but he's already busy with superhero antics. He doesn't have all day to study seven decades' worth of technology, politics, history, and the like.
4 He Doesn't Use Many Cool Gadgets

Captain America should have followed Batman's example and equipped himself with rappel lines, bladed weapons, and gas emitters so that he could become a more flexible fighter on the battlefield. If Batman can be a tech-loaded crimefighter, so can Captain America.
3. He Looked Shabby In Later Movies

No one can blame Steve Rogers for feeling down after the events of Civil War and the split of the Avengers, but this was partially his fault. Because of it all, he looked pretty bad in later movies. During 2018's The Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America was looking worse than ever.

Granted, the split of the Avengers is also partially Tony Stark's fault. However, Captain America is the main person to blame for Earth's greatest team getting split in half. Captain America was the one who openly opposed the Sokovia Accords, and he insisted on defending his friend Bucky Barnes no matter what.

Both parties are to blame for this, but perhaps Captain America should take the most responsibility. Not only did Captain America contribute greatly to the Avengers breaking up, but he also did nothing to try and repair this rift in the following months and years.
